Black Widow, Brown Recluse, Daddy Long Legs, Tarantula, Common
Generally spiders are considered beneficial since they feed on insects but in an indoor home environment they become a nuisance, spinning webs and invading our personal space. Most spiders found in North America are not directly harmful to humans, only a few including the Black Widow and Brown Recluse spiders have venomous bites that are dangerous. The Tarantula is perhaps a very common and scary image but is often kept as a pet. They are not venomous but may bite. Daddy Long Legs is a very common spider found in households and does not represent a threat aside from webbing and the general invasion of personal space.
We will make a visual inspection of the premises, especially areas such as closets and basements.
